BOARD OF DIRECTORS
President
Dana first joined the RMT community in 2010 when she served as the Director of Membership and Volunteer Services and appeared in the Ensemble of The Pajama Game. Over the last 15 years, Dana has held three positions on the Board of Directors and performed onstage or worked behind the scenes of over 15 RMT productions. She is proud to call RMT her home theatre and honored to serve as President during its 50th Anniversary Season! Dana holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and daylights as the Director of an Early Childhood Center located in Kensington, MD.
Vice President/Executive Producer
Megan Evans is serving in her third role on Rockville Musical Theatre's Board of Directors having previously served as Secretary and Marketing Director. In her professional career, Megan is a Senior Manager of Government Affairs for the National Skills Coalition working to advance a national commitment to inclusive, high-quality skills training so that more people have access to a better life, and more local businesses see sustained growth.
Secretary
Jenny has been an active member of RMT since moving to Maryland in 2019, appearing in five shows so far and serving as the VP/Executive Producer from 2020-2023. While living in her native Illinois, Jenny appeared in over 70 productions both in the Chicago suburbs and in Champaign/Urbana. She also served on the board of the Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company for six years.
Jenny graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago and has a master's degree in couples and family therapy. When not onstage, she works as a naturalist with Montgomery Parks and teaches psychology courses online.
Director of Grants and Fundraising
Courtney began her journey with RMT in 2019 as the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical. Realizing she had found her theatre home, she joined the Board of Directors in 2022 where she takes the lead in submitting grant proposals and managing fundraising opportunities for the organization. In "real life" she works as a Marketing Manager, but Courtney's heart lies with theatre and the arts.
Director of Marketing
Faith joined the RMT family in the cast of Once Upon a Mattress in 2022! After appearing in two more RMT shows (Legally Blonde and Young Frankenstein), Faith joined the Board of Directors in 2023 as the Director of Marketing.
Director of Membership & Volunteer Services
Since 2016, Chad has been involved as a performer and music director in RMT's productions of Rent, Dogfight, Spamalot, Seussical, Legally Blonde, and James and the Giant Peach. Outside of RMT, Chad is the Manager of Volunteer Engagement at KID Museum.
Technical Director
Ray has served as the Technical Director of RMT since 2023 and has been an active member of the RMT community since 2019 as an actor, set builder, and stage manager. Originally from Chicago, he began his community theatre experience with the Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company in 2011 and has worked with several companies in the Central Illinois region.
Outside of theatre, Ray enjoys Pokemon Go, guitar, and soccer (#cf97). He received a B.S. in General Engineering and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Georgetown University.
