Rockville Musical Theatre is currently accepting proposals for our submission for performance slots at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn between February and May in 2027. 
 
Please note that this form is for Arts Barn submissions only and does not apply to our mainstage productions at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre. Additionally, please be aware that we are not guaranteed a production slot at the Arts Barn.

Due to the intimate size of the space, Arts Barn productions typically feature smaller cast sizes (generally under 12 performers) and minimal sets. This venue provides an opportunity to present works that may not be as well-suited for the larger Fitzgerald stage, such as theater for young audiences and lesser-known titles. Recent RMT productions at the Arts Barn include Be More Chill, A Year with Frog and Toad, James and the Giant Peach, Heathers, Dogfight, and Altar Boyz. 
 
The RMT Board of Directors considers multiple factors in our selection process, including artistic vision, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in both casting and production team selection, and the suitability of the show title.

Production teams should avoid submitting title that have been mounted at the Arts Barn or produced by RMT in the last 10 years.
