RMT grows classier every year. In this show the sets designed by Hans Bachmann and Kevin Murphy are many, smart-looking and cleverly mobile. Richard Battistelli's costumes glisten.

The fine orchestra directed by Anne Raugh provides strong support for the singers and dancers, sometimes too strong, drowning out some of the lyrics.

Although it's not a children's show, RMT's version of "City of Angels" is not shockingly "adult."
