Directorial Staff Application
Thank you for your interest in directing with RMT. In order to further consider your candidacy, the RMT Board of Directors would appreciate receiving a proposal from you outlining the following information: |
- Your name and the names of any team members and their roles
- Name of show you wish to direct (and rights owner, if known)
- Plot summary if proposing a show to RMT
- Director’s basic concept of the show
- Particular details that the team would desire or require (indicate which) in order to do the show (e.g. a set of a particular nature, special effects, etc.)
- Indications of budgetary requirements (as to tech especially)
- Cast size and any special casting desired (keeping in mind that RMT has open auditions and no pre-casting)
- Set, props, costume, lights design ideas (if any)
- Proposed script/music changes (if any)
- Any special music or choreographic ideas
- Any other pertinent information which you would like to provide
- Resumes of the members of the directorial team
- Resumes of any other crew chiefs who are proposed
- References from groups previously directed for
Based on your submission, the RMT Board may wish to call you and/or the team for a personal interview to further explain your proposal.
