RMT is an incredibly successful organization with a very strong backbone of core individuals that know how to put on a show. Our rehearsals will start 8-10 weeks prior to the opening night of the show. Summer show - beginning of May, Fall show - beginning of September. We generally rehearse Monday thru Thursday from 7-10 and some Saturdays. This will depend on the Director and cast conflicts. In addition, the last two weeks are generally Monday-Sunday with a possible double rehearsal on the Sunday before opening. Sometimes the cast will have a day off during this period depending on what the Director feels.

During the run we do 8 additional performances Friday and Saturday nights with 2 Sunday Matinees. In addition the 2 Thursday nights after opening are mandatory brush-up rehearsals. The quality of RMT shows are evident from our consistency and these brush-up rehearsals maintain that quality.

We strongly believe in not wasting our cast's time and do all we can to schedule the rehearsal times so that you are not standing around. With this in mind we ask that you be warmed up completely at the start of rehearsal.

You will be asked to help out a few hours on a weekend to paint or construct set. Also you may be asked to do some costume work, however all costume decisions are that of the Director and Costume Designer.

There will be a small fee, about 10 dollars for a script deposit and you are also required to join RMT as a member. Membership consists of a $20 (Single Membership) or $50 (Family membership) fee. This fee entitles you to either 2 (Single) or 4 (Family) free tickets and voting rights for the year that you are a member.

We strongly recommend that you get your friends and family to participate. There are many opportunities for non singing-dancing individuals and it's a great way to socialize and gain new lifelong friendships.

Also after every performance we have a party, it's usually held at a cast members house, BOB or we go out to a restaurant.

Closing night we need to take apart the set and everything that we brought into the theater must go . This usually takes about 3 hours and then we have a final night cast party, hosted by RMT, where gifts are presented.
